are u announcing the nominees now?

The main admin of this blog doesn’t have a laptop right now, this is what the technical difficulties are. We’re trying to fix it as soon as we can. We just ask that you remain as lovely and patient as you have been as it’s not our intention to leave people waiting.

have the ballots closed?

There have been some technical difficulties, so we’re extending the ballots until Monday night, so they’ll be open until then. The nominations will be posted (hopefully) on Tuesday, given everything goes according to plan! That just means you all get a little more time to send in your votes, so be sure to do so!

Welcome to the 2012 Glee RP Awards. It’s not often RPers get the opportunity to be recognised and appreciated for the work and effort they put into their RP’s and characters. RP’s are about more than the show, they are a chance for people to stretch their imaginations, to bring depth to characters that we don’t always get to experience on the show. It gives everyone the chance to bring their own spin and take on their favorite character. We think it’s time we rewarded those RPers that have grabbed the attention of the Glee RP Community and have become some of our favorite blogs to follow.

For more information please check out the links below. Make sure you’ve read the rules before filling out a ballot and that you’ve looked through the F.A.Q’s before asking a question.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the previous awards shutting down and the numerous problems and complaints every awards blog so far has had regarding fairness etc, we are extending the nomination period for two more days.

As of now, nominations will close on May 17th, we’re hoping this will give as many people as possible a chance to nominate those blogs they feel deserve the recognition. We don’t want this awards blog to come across the same problems others have had, so we encourage you to promote yourselves if you so wish and to spread the word for this final stage of nominations.

Can you give us an example of an ballot?

You can find that here.

I don't tag my posts and yet I have 200+ followers, I think that's a little bit unfair for the people who are good rpers and got votes because of the quality of the rp and not because it's a popularity contest.

We did previously state that a blog would have to hit all those points to be considered a complete spam vote. It’s incredibly easy to spot spam and we are not saying it’s impossible to get followers if you don’t tag your posts, but we find it highly unlikely as we don’t know how people would know about your blog to follow you if you never tagged in the first place. We don’t in anyway want this to be a popularity contest which is why we go to such lengths to keep the process fair. We personally check each and every blog that is nominated and please believe that the awards will be based on the quality of an rp and not on how people can cheat the system.

And 5 is the minimum number of nominations required to be able to vote on it?

Yes, no blog will be on the final ballot that didn’t receive at least five nominations.

"If that blog has not promoted itself for nomination, that will be red flack number two." I don't understand what that means :/

What we mean by this, is if there is an unusually high amount of votes for a certain blog and we check it out and it hits all of those three points, then the likelihood is they would have spammed themselves. Especially if they don’t tag their posts or they haven’t asked people to nominate them, because there would be no way for people to know they existed.

Cherry is Mike and Rachel :3

Really? Oh…I see it now. That’s a new one for me, I can add it to the list and once again if it doesn’t receive enough nominees with five nominations or more for the final ballot then we will merge that category with another.
